1. Information we collect
Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
Content you provide: scripts, images and other files you upload, and the videos, narration and captions Trovid generates for your projects.
Payment information: we do not process or store your card details ourselves — subscription payments are handled by our payment provider(s) (currently Paddle; PayPal is supported but only enabled where available), who collect and process payment details directly under their own privacy policies.
Usage information: basic account activity needed to operate the service, such as credit usage and project history.
2. How we use your information
To operate your account, generate and store your video projects, process billing, respond to support requests, and maintain the security of the service.
3. AI processing and third-party service providers
Generating a video involves sending relevant content (such as your script, prompt, or images) to the specific third-party providers needed for that step, which may include AI language, voice, and avatar providers, stock media providers, and our cloud storage and email providers. We only send what's needed to perform the specific generation step you request, and these providers process it under their own terms and privacy policies.
4. Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for details on what we actually use.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal account data and content within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain certain records (for example, billing records) for legal or accounting purposes.
6. Security
See our Security page for how we protect your account and data.
7. Your rights
You can access and update your account information from your account settings, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.
8. International data transfers
Because we rely on third-party service providers (see Section 3), your information may be processed in countries other than your own, as part of how those providers operate their services.
9. Children's privacy
Trovid is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age required to form a binding contract in their jurisdiction.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent via our Contact page.
